FILM/VIDEO: I See You (2025)

As part of an ongoing exploration of AI-generated audio and visuals, this music video for “I See You”—from the 2025 album of the same name—features a fusion of machine-generated and human-crafted elements. The music was composed using Suno, with original lyrics, while the accompanying visuals were created through Open Art and subsequently edited to align with the song’s tone and narrative. The result is a layered audiovisual experience shaped by both algorithmic output and personal intervention.

FILM/VIDEO: Waltz of the Flowers (2008)

This clip is excerpted from WALTZ OF THE FLOWERS (2008), a photogrammed, hand-developed short film that composites 26mm and 35mm prints onto 16mm hi-con stock. Exposed through varied light sources and digitally manipulated, the piece interrogates the discordant complexities of resistance and identity in U.S. culture. Through layered imagery—religious iconography, scenes of protest, and refracted Americana—the film constructs a dimensional interplay of print, stock, and light as a medium of cultural critique.

FILM/VIDEO: Kigali100 (2008)

KIGALI100 is a documentary project that examines reconciliation in post-genocide Rwanda through interviews with filmmakers, musicians, and political and religious leaders. The film interrogates the complexities of forgiveness, questioning both its efficacy and the ways in which reconciliation may obscure or suppress ethnic identity within the Rwandan context. Due to the ethical sensitivities surrounding participant narratives and the constraints of Rwandan speech laws, the film has been withheld from public circulation.
